I was deeply saddened to hear the news that Freek, from the beloved Dutch duo Suzan & Freek, is facing an incurable illness.

As a fellow Dutchman and lifelong admirer of their music, I want to extend my heartfelt support to Freek, Suzan, their families, and their fans. Your songs have brought joy, comfort, and connection to millions – and continue to do so even now.
