New Year’s Statement from the Group CEO

This is not a routine New Year’s message. It is a statement for the record.

2025 was a year in which comfort was stripped away, illusions were shattered, and resolve was tested in full view of the world. It was a year where pressure was applied deliberately, consistently, and with the expectation that endurance would fail.

It did not.

In the face of sustained hostility, obstruction, and noise designed to intimidate rather than challenge, the Swish World Group did not collapse, retreat, or submit. We moved decisively and lawfully to secure our future. We crossed borders not in fear, but in defence of principle.

In 2025, we established our presence in the United States because independence matters, because sovereignty matters, and because progress does not ask permission from those who fear it.

Let the record be clear:
We were not driven away. We advanced.

There are moments in history when organisations — like nations — are tested not by competition or markets, but by whether they will stand when standing carries a cost. This year was such a moment. And in that moment, this Group chose resolve over retreat.

Leadership is not measured by ease, but by what is preserved when conditions turn hostile. Our responsibility is not only to survive pressure, but to ensure that those who come after us inherit something stronger, freer, and harder to break.

We were told to slow down.
We were told to comply quietly.
We were told that resistance was futile.

They were wrong.

We continued to build. We continued to expand. We continued to innovate — deliberately, responsibly, and within the rule of law. And that is why we enter 2026 not diminished, but forged.

2026 will not be a year of recovery. History does not remember recovery. It remembers ascent. This will be the year the Swish World Group rises to a level shaped by adversity and strengthened by resistance.

To our people across the world: you stood firm when it was easier to step back. You worked when distraction was constant. You believed when doubt was fashionable. What we have built together cannot be undone by noise, nor erased by pressure.

And to those who believed persistence would exhaust us, intimidation would silence us, or time would wear us down — understand this:

We are still standing.
We are unbroken.
And we are not finished.

This is not the end of a difficult chapter. It is the beginning of a stronger one.
